At Laing+Simmons Dee Why we are proudly local. We don’t simply want to serve the community, we are committed to being a part of it.
After all, our team has been a fixture in the local community for some time.

In 2009, George Vumbaca and Daniel Nero, two of the company’s founders, were first introduced. That same year they took control of independent real estate office Vogue Agency, based in Warriewood, and the foundations for the business that would become Laing+Simmons Dee Why were laid.

Not interested in the cookie-cutter, impersonal approach of the major groups, George and Daniel were adamant that a boutique service offering backed by their local expertise was necessary. Enter, in 2011, Paul Winter.

George and Daniel approached Paul, then the owner-operator of successful local firm Winter & Co in Dee Why, and a merger between the two local agencies was cemented.

Paul’s extensive residential sales background would prove an ideal fit with the development expertise of both George and Daniel to become a powerful point of difference. The stage was set for the next phase of the company’s growth.

After much investigation, with the strong belief that a boutique brand synonymous with quality was necessary, Vogue Agency became Laing+Simmons Dee Why in 2015.

It was clear that only the revitalised Laing+Simmons brand would fit the company’s commitment to quality service, to focus on building a strong business for the future as part of the local community.

Today, Laing+Simmons Dee Why is a valued and important member of the Laing+Simmons family. Our office is part of a strong team with an emphasis on boutique services underpinned by local passion.
