“A happy home is more than a roof over your head; it’s a foundation under your feet” proverb
As a Property Manager Linda has a strong affinity with these words as she feels that matching the right tenant to the property is as important as the house is to the owner. Be it either an investment property or an old loved family home.
This ethic comes from her own personal feelings on what home is to her. She takes pride with both her personal home and her professional life.
Linda’s real estate career starting in New Zealand where she rose to Assistant Manager in the largest property management company in Christchurch, having an excess of 600 properties in her portfolio.
Following other family members, Linda moved to Perth in 2008. She completed her REIWA license in Property Management, Certificate IV in Property Services as well as other certifications. She is only inches away from completing her Diploma also in Property Services.
Having always being a high achiever, Linda was invited to become a member of a property management chapter for Western Australia. She has proudly headed a department that has achieved best business growth twice and personally was nominated for Property Manager of the year.
She is admired for her determination, excellent communication skills; A strong love of teaching and procedure, maintaining a friendly attitude, while always carrying a large smile. It is important to Linda that all her clients on both sides of the fence are regularly updated to provide excellent, customer service. She will always go that extra mile for clients and has forged a strong trust amongst both tenants and owners.
”I see my role as not only a property manager but a counselor, negotiator, a friend, handyman, teacher and even at times legal aid! Finding the balance between people’s emotional and financial commitments to their properties that they have either leased out or are living in, can be challenging at times but when it all comes together I find the client satisfaction incredibly rewarding.”
Linda enjoys her downtime socialising with family and friends that are equally as important to her. She enjoys a good Sauvignon Blanc from the homeland especially while watching her favourite boys in black… the All Blacks!)
