We bought an agency and rent roll back in 1995 and changed the name to North Shore Realty Sunshine Coast, we are a family company where we all contribute with different skills, which has helped us grow from 2 employees back in 1995 to now having 45 employees and two offices, plus other divisions within our company, like Holiday Rentals through Coolum Holidays and Sunshine Coast Holiday Properties, a Body Corporate business which managers unit complexes through out the Sunshine Coast called North Shore Body Corp. Our senior sales staff have been with us for 20 plus years and are like family to us. We also support allot of the sporting organizations and community groups such as Lions, Meals on Wheels and various other good courses with donations and sponsorship and we donate our time as well.
I use allot of different marketing options as it comes down to the property, do we list at a price or do we take it to Auction, we sell both ways but are a strong Auction company with on-site Auctions and In room Auctions as well which we have had huge success with and we do these every 2 months, you have 10 properties going on the one night it attracts all types of buyers and gives that buzz in the room and the best part about Auctions is no conditions on the contract just a settlement date, no finance and building and pest reports to worry about, which is what you get when you list at a price most buyers put special conditions in the Contract so you do not know whether you have sold the property until the buyer is satisfied with those conditions which are sometimes up to 21 days, a long time to wait.
