In the late 70’s and early 80’s there was a very famous Remington electric shavers advertising campaign where the company’s CEO appeared in the ads and stated "When my wife bought me a Remington shaver, I was so impressed I bought the company". When searching for a property on the North Shore, the encounters Peter Brack had with dozens of real estate agents led to the all too familiar BBQ/dinner party conversations about people’s experiences with agents. These conversations led to extensive discussions with dozens of North Shore residents who had recent experience either buying or selling property in the area and interviews with numerous current agents. These discussions, coupled with previous real estate sales success and 18 years advertising industry experience led Peter to one conclusion; There is a better way, a way without the deception and a way that puts the interest of the property sale first, not the interest of the agent

Marketing Plan
Radar Properties believes that it's the responsibility of the agent to recommend a suitable marketing plan and then, most importantly, pay for its implementation

The following marketing items are all included within Radars commission, not an extra paid by the owner:
- Professional photography and floorplan
- Copywriting and design for all marketing elements
- Premium 6'x4' signboard
- Printing of full colour A4 'Open Home' flyers for distribution at open inspections
- Printing and distribution of 2,000 'Just Listed' full colour cards to alert surrounding residents of the property for sale. This is more important than most owners think, as people who live in the area and love it will recommend the property for sale to family and friends
- Premium Internet Advertising:
- 'Premiere' listing on
- 'Premium Plus' listing on
- Listing on Century 21 national and global websites

With respect to sale via Private Treaty versus Auction, this is a decision that needs to be made based on several factors such as:
- Current market sentiment
- Property type
- Competitive environment
Most importantly, it comes down to the experiences and preferences of you, the owner. It's your property and you need to be comfortable with the way in which it's being handled)
