Steps to selling your property
Step 1: Prior to Listing

Sign a listing agreement with your agent
Step 2: Listing your property
Solicitor/Conveyancer prepares contracts for sale Standard
Agent prepares marketing campaign and advertising materials, internet pages
Prepare your home for buyer inspections
Agent conducts buyer inspections and open homes
Agent negotiates a sale price under your instructions and to your satisfaction
Step 3: Accepting the offer
Offer is accepted
Conditions, if any, are satisfied i.e. a ‘builders report’, ‘finance clauses’
Contract For Sale becomes unconditional
Agent accepts a deposit on your behalf which is held in the company’s trust account
Step 4: Settlement
Settlement period begins
