This amalgamation was a strategic move by Hayek founder, Joseph Hayek, who was looking to expand and offer his valued clients an even more comprehensive service with the backing of a well-known brand and a respected group.

One of Sydney’s longest servicing residential and commercial property sales and management specialists, Joseph started Hayek in 1987 as an ambitious 21 year old. What started as a make-or-break venture in a Potts Point basement with enough capital to last two months has grown into one of Sydney’s largest offices, of which Joseph remains at the forefront.

Our office will conduct up to three open for inspections per week plus private appointments where necessary. Your property will also be promoted in our window displays at both our Potts Point and Pyrmont office and a marketing email is sent to our prospective tenant database subscribers.

Our office collects the names and contact details from prospective tenants at each open for inspection so that we can follow up with each person individually after the opens and to also update our database for other properties they may be interested in. We are constantly in contact with you regarding the open for inspection feedback and any recommendations we may have for you.

Once an application is received on your property we thoroughly check the references and contact you to seek your instructions on the prospective tenant. If approved a holding fee is taken from the applicant and the necessary paper work prepared for their signing.
