Why We’re Doing This

To nurture forward thinking and innovative development in Australia’s future, LocalAgentFinder created the LocalAgentFinder Prize for Academic Achievement. The award recognises creative talent and young innovators, offering a $2,000 prize to high achieving students across Australia to assist them with their studies.


What You Need To Do

To be considered for the LocalAgentFinder Academic Achievement Prize, students are required to submit the following documents:

  • Your current academic transcript
  • A 500-word or less response, detailing an example of innovation or creative initiative within your field of study that you believe has changed the way the industry operates.

Status Prize Closes Winner Announced

Applications will be reviewed and judged by an internal panel. The winner will be notified via phone, email and post.

Who Should Apply

  • Applicants must be enrolled and studying full-time at an Australian tertiary institution.
  • The prize is open to students who demonstrate academic excellence in their respective studies and have achieved a minimum score or weighted average of 70%.
  • The prize is open to all full-time tertiary students currently studying in Australia.
  • The prize is open to both domestic and international students.
  • Rural students are encouraged to apply.


  • Application must be submitted between 1st September 2015 - 15th January 2016.
  • 2016 winner will be announced 15th February 2016
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled and studying at an Australian tertiary education institution.
  • Winner will be selected via an internal panel based on candidate's responses to application criteria.
  • The winner’s name, city/state of residence, and tertiary institution will be published on the LocalAgentFinder website, and any related media.
  • In the event that the winner fails to claim their prize within 1 month after notification, an alternative winner will be selected.
