The Block’s Bathroom Reveals
Channel Nine favourite, “The Block”, showcased a series of impressive bathrooms to well and truly kick off the 2016 season. We’ve captured a couple of the top picks below:
Julia and Sasha’s bathrooms
Challenge winners Julia and Sasha created a bathroom space that mixes the contemporary with the classic. Installing sleek brass tapware into their master ensuite, the pair created something a little out of the ordinary. The girls added simple grey tiling to their family bathroom in the second bathroom round, wonderfully pulling together their style and space.
A few snaps of our master ensuite. We adore this space and know our buyer will, too. It’s as luxe and palatial as they come! Thank you to all our amazing suppliers. Taps by the incredible @sussextaps for @reecebathrooms #melbourne #love #bathroom #bathroominspo #homeinspo

Karlie and Will’s bathrooms
Karlie and Will missed out on the win in week one, but their enormous bathroom featured a large, striking bathtub with rose golf tapware. Installing or updating even one new feature – such as a new bathtub – can make a huge difference. Especially when it comes to strategies for adding value to your property. The black basins Will and Karlie included in their second bathroom were an absolute hit.

Beautiful bathroom renovations from past seasons
Shay and Dean’s bathroom
2015 “The Block” winners Shay and Dean stunned everyone with their sophisticated, black-and-gold styled bathroom, making up a part of their plush penthouse in South Yarra. Jellis Craig’s Andrew McCann valued the penthouse at $1.5 million, but the end sale price reached a whopping $2.3 million – $800,000 over the estimated price.
What a massive week! We love our master bathroom and we couldn’t have done it without our awesome team @baile.carpentry @lbtiling @teschelectricsptyltd @cranmorehome @thenaturalsupplyco @curious_grace @sussextaps #level5 #theblockpenthouse #shayanddean #theblock #thegogetters #nswteam A photo posted by Shay And Dean (@shayanddean) on
Whitney and Andy’s bathroom
Whitney and Andy’s apartment was valued at $1.3 million, but sold for $1.79 million – $490,000 higher than the estimated price. Whitney and Andy’s apartment featured this simple but stunning bathroom. For those sticking to a budget, a simple update with plants can really help dress up a bathroom.
Thank you so much to all of our trades for helping us create our amazing bathroom! And that vanity!!! Beautiful! #ingraindesigns #demannelectrical #andrewrebiscarpentry #iplumb A photo posted by Whitney And Andy (@whitneyandandy) on
