How can we claim to be the market leaders when we will only sell one quarter of this much property? The answer is simple! We don’t claim to be the market leaders. We will never under promise and under deliver.

We find the biggest question on most sellers lips is: “How much does it cost to list our house?”
The answer is…..NOTHING! We do not charge a single cent for the privilege of listing your home. We are certainly aware of the changing market place that we operate in whereby nearly all of our competitors charge an up front fee to list with them and frankly we think this is just rude! When we sell your home we will be charging you a commission fee for sale and in our opinion this should be all you pay for.
The next question is:
“What is the commission?”
The law no longer caps the amount of commission an agent can charge for residential or rural property transactions.
This change to the previous law was included in the Property Occupations Act 2014, which commenced on 1 December 2014.
For the seller this means that there is no longer a set scale for commission and the seller is able to agree upon a percentage of commission payable upon the successful settlement of their property.
We are happy to discuss our fee with you, as there are many factors that will determine the fair commission rate. As a guide our average commission rate is 3% (plus GST) of the sales price. For ease of calculation this equals $3,000 for every $100,000 of property value. Example : Sales Price $300,000 = 3 x $3000 = $9,000 (plus GST)
Most of our competitors are a bit shy about answering these questions because they like to charge as much as they can and cover other business costs such as high franchise fees or monthly subscription costs to media companies. As a result they will lead you to believe that paying an up front listing fee is very normal.
Our Company is independently owned and as a result we do not have any franchise fees to pay so we are happy to pass the savings onto you. As for the monthly subscription fees, we believe that is a cost for the business to pay on our own without charging our clients up front for the service that we can provide for FREE.
