Laing+Simmons Hornsby has been a fixture in the local community for many years and will be for many years to come.

In May 2018, Laing+Simmons Hornsby turned over an exciting new leaf. Under the ownership of well-known local real estate identity Karen Hardy, the Laing+Simmons Hornsby team renewed its commitment to not only providing the best possible customer experiences for people in the local area, but being an active part of the local community.

This commitment had to be more than just words. So a dedicated fund was established in the office’s name to benefit two local charities, each of which is richly deserving of support.

For every property the team sells, $250 will go into the fund to be donated to Studio Artes and the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter in equal measure.

Our Principal Karen Hardy served on the Board of the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter and understands first-hand the invaluable work it does to provide a case managed service to women in crisis. Hornsby-based Studio Artes provides tailor-made creative activities and life skills for adults living with a wide range of disabilities, catering to the needs of the individual.
