The way in which our Rental Department here at Real Estate City is structured is slightly different to that of other offices in the area as we have separated our roles to be specialists and offer a more efficient service to that of our landlords and clients.
I am the dedicated Leasing & Business Development Manager. This allows me to speak with owners such as yourself who may have recently purchased an investment property and need to secure a manager, others may contact us who are looking to purchase and after advice on suburbs and types of properties that are currently seeing rental growth and have long term investment potential, others come to us purely to better the service they are currently receiving. I guide them through the process of listing with our office and also the leasing process and continue until the tenants move in.
Theresa Hawkins is our Property Manager. From the date the tenants move in she is your point of contact. She will be the one to conduct routine inspections which by current legislations allows us to inspect the property every six months. She will also ensure rent is payable by the tenants on time and report to you with any maintenance that should arise and be reported by the tenants, conduct rental reviews and current lease options. She is the go to person for all that goes on while the tenancy is in place.
Our current portfolio sits at approximately 168 properties, which is in excess of a 10% growth in the past 6 months. Structuring our department in such a way has allowed us to better service our clients and they know that when they call our office that dependant of what stage of the tenancy they are currently at, they know who they are dealing with.

Marketing a property should be done to attract optimal rent and also the right tenant for the property. We use several websites to advertise the property as well as for lease boards, window display, rental list and our internal database.
All aspects of the marketing and leasing of the property including approval of an applicant are done in conjunction with the landlord. You will know what is happening with your property at every step.
