There is a constant theme when it comes to feedback Bekdon Richards receives from satisfied clients: ‘We were looked after’.
And it’s no great secret, for the company’s guiding ethos is simple and effective:
‘We treat every person and every situation in a way we ourselves would want to be treated,’ says director Evan Lykourinos. ‘It’s our bottom line.’
Bekdon Richards has assembled a dedicated, qualified and successful team that shares a vision for providing a much better experience for people who are buying, selling or leasing.
The staff is hand-picked from local and experienced talent. The directors possess an exceptional knowledge of the real estate sector and, importantly, have achieved success in other industries.
Furthermore, the agency demonstrates an energy and professionalism that greatly enhances intelligent, strategic marketing.
But that’s only half the story. Value for money is other half.
‘From a small apartment to a grand home,’ says fellow director Paul Richards, ‘we’ll commit the same care and attention. What’s more, if a client has unrealistic expectations we will be upfront to the point of not taking the commission.’
This is the difference with Bekdon Richards.
There is a commitment to personalised service that will surprise and satisfy; the Directors work by a philosophy that maintains the happiest client is a repeat client.
The same goes for the staff of Bekdon Richards; trained to the highest standard, they are the beneficiaries of smart systems, self-improvement opportunities and a culture that results in the company’s greatest selling point: looking after people.
A born and bred Melbournian and fellow director of Bekdon Richards, Paul has a ready smile and energy to burn. A decade’s worth of real estate experience has far from quenched Paul’s desire to help people achieve their goals and his professionalism and natural enthusiasm is renowned throughout the industry.
Paul’s interest in property actually dates back far earlier. ‘I would regularly attend auctions with my father,’ he says. ‘I loved the mix of people and all of the action leading up to when the hammer fell.’
Fast forward and Paul is now as well known for his personable approach and empathy with clients as his fastidious attention to detail. So what is the secret? ‘Being genuinely interested, providing exceptional service and giving timely and accurate advice allows my clients to make informed decisions,’ he says.
For Paul, it is not about merely meeting expectations, but exceeding them. ‘It’s what we aim for,’ he says. ‘If you love what you do, you’ll go the extra mile.’ He is a skilled negotiator whose market knowledge is enviable. What’s more, he has delivered a number of record industry results in the Boroondara region.
Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with his wife Ashleigh, sons Charlie & Mason and beloved chocolate Labrador ‘Gus’, Paul is a keen golfer and loves to travel when circumstances allow.
At Bekdon Richards it’s not just selling ..it’s a strategic approach and the best possible result.
To achieve this result we bring a strategic focus to everything we do.
Presentations, styling, marketing, media, personnel and networking are just the start. At Bekdon Richards, we package every step of the property marketing process into one strategic plan designed for your property. At every step of the way, from the initial on-line listing and enquiry period, to a pricing strategy based on real information, to a marketing plan conceived to achieve the absolute best price, Bekdon Richards’ process is based on informed decision-making.
At Bekdon Richards, comparable statistics are interpreted for their accuracy, potential buyer enquiry is assessed for its genuineness, and our vendors’ expectations are added to the equation. Then, with a measured and diligent process, we form an accurate picture of the true value of the property…before setting about achieving the highest possible figure in that value range.
At every stage of the sale, open communication and a transparent flow of information means that our actions are entirely visible to the most important people in the sale - our vendors.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Paul Richards (Director)
