Agency overview

In the late 70’s and early 80’s there was a very famous Remington electric shavers advertising campaign where the company’s CEO appeared in the ads and stated "When my wife bought me a Remington shaver, I was so impressed I bought the company". Century 21 Radar Properties is a product of the mirror reverse situation

When searching for a property on the North Shore, the encounters Peter Brack had with dozens of real estate agents led to the all too familiar BBQ/dinner party conversations about people’s experiences with agents. These conversations led to extensive discussions with dozens of North Shore residents who had recent experience either buying or selling property in the area and interviews with numerous current agents. These discussions, coupled with previous real estate sales success and 18 years advertising industry experience led Peter to one conclusion; There is a better way, a way without the deception and a way that puts the interest of the property sale first, not the interest of the agent

The result was the birth of Radar Properties, an independent agency that not only operates differently, but more importantly, thinks very differently to any other agency on the North Shore. Not just a throw away line or an advertising hook, Radar is truly unique in a sea of sameness

From September 2015, Radar Properties proudly became Century 21 Radar Properties, building on the strength of the Century 21 brand as the most trusted name on the North Shore for over 20 years. The combination of our unique vendor focussed philosophy and the backing of the worlds largest and most prominent real estate brand is a recipe for success for our clients

Everything we do is governed by a simple creed, Honesty and Transparency in Real Estate, with the foremost intention being what’s in the best interest of the property sale, not what’s in the best interest of the agent

Marketing Plan

Radar Properties believes that it's the responsibility of the agent to recommend a suitable marketing plan and then, most importantly, pay for its implementation

The following marketing items are all included within Radars commission, not an extra paid by the owner:
- Professional photography and floorplan
- Copywriting and design for all marketing elements
- Premium 6'x4' signboard
- Printing of full colour A4 'Open Home' flyers for distribution at open inspections
- Printing and distribution of 2,000 'Just Listed' full colour cards to alert surrounding residents of the property for sale. This is more important than most owners think, as people who live in the area and love it will recommend the property for sale to family and friends
- Premium Internet Advertising:
- 'Premiere' listing on
- 'Premium Plus' listing on
- Listing on Century 21 national and global websites

With respect to sale via Private Treaty versus Auction, this is a decision that needs to be made based on several factors such as:
- Current market sentiment
- Property type
- Competitive environment
Most importantly, it comes down to the experiences and preferences of you, the owner. It's your property and you need to be comfortable with the way in which it's being handled

When we first met Peter Brack, Clare and I were both very impressed. He was the third agent we spoke to when we considered selling our house. After a serious discussion weighing up all the pros and cons, we both decided 'Let's give Peter a crack. We believe him.' We are glad we did.
Peter was transparent during every stage of selling our house. He updated us promptly after inspections, and was right on the money with all his predictions. And he worked very, very hard!!!
It took just ten days for Peter to sell our house. We were very pleased with the result, and this was in no small part due to Peter's professionalism throughout the whole process. The fact that he paid for all the marketing was an added bonus and at the end of the process left us with more in our pocket than we may have otherwise had.
Clare and I recommend Peter as highly as we can. He has restored some lost faith in the industry. He is unquestionably 'honest and transparent.' Furthermore, he is a good bloke

After a less than impressive experience with another agency in the area we were not looking forward to dealing with another agent. Following a recommendation from family we decided to meet Peter and found him to be one of those people who actually does what they say they will do. Peter was extremely easy to deal with and very clear about the entire process, which led to a stress-free sale.
Most importantly, it’s the result that counts and this is where we were most impressed. Radar recommended and paid for an advertising campaign that worked so well we had 5 buyers competing for the property after the first week. After discussing the options, Peter negotiated a price considerably higher than what we indicated we would be happy with. This higher price, coupled with no advertising expenses and a very competitive commission rate, ensured that we walked away with the most money possible from the sale.

The simplest endorsement I can give of Peter Brack is that this is the second property in 12 months I have entrusted Peter to sell. Once again he has done an outstanding job.

I knew it would not be an easy property to sell and rather than pushing for a quick sale at any price, Peter demonstrated patience and persistence to find the right buyer at the best possible price. Radar paid for all the advertising costs so I always felt like we were working in partnership.

If you’re thinking of selling, I highly recommend speaking with Peter.
