At L. J. Hooker Southport we pride ourselves on offering a superior service to our landlords and will always go that extra mile to assist you. We understand that effective property management is all about a commitment to building a professional and open relationship with you and your tenants.

We are members of the Tenancy Information Centre and Barclay MIS, which are databases where defaulting tenants are registered, allowing us to ensure you get the best tenant possible in your investment every time. Our Management service is fully computerised ensuring constant update of activity for your file. This includes lease renewal, collection of rent, stringent tenant selection and regular routine inspections. Our system has the facility to enable all rental monies to be directly credited into your bank account and we will forward a detailed statement and any corresponding invoices to you via email or post on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.

Our charges are 7.5% commission of all rent collected per month plus GST. The letting fee is equivalent to one weeks rent plus GST. This is charged upon each newly secured tenant. Postage and sundries are charged at $5.00 plus GST per month. If you’d like to correspond via email this cost will be reduced to $2.50 plus GST per month.

Marketing Plan
We recommend to all owners to upload their property onto realestate.com as a feature property at $110 - this way the advert stays on page 1 and 2 (according to realestate.com only 89% of prospective tenants will search past page 2).

Our Agency offers our prospective tenants 24 hour access to our online booking service to make an appointment to view available rentals and a quick online application process.
We have a full-time leasing agent that does inspections up to 6pm and on Saturdays.)

I would like to acknowledge the exceptionally great service provided by LJ Hooker Southport, in particular Veronica Guilfoyle, during my two year tenancy at 84-86 High Street, which definitely made my stay at this property both comfortable and enjoyable. Her attention to any tenancy matters were very thorough and always dealt with in a professional and timely manner. All service and maintenance requests were attended to within a week of advising your office. As a tenant I was well looked after.
I would also like to acknowledge and thank the owner of the unit for approving a number of improvements to the place during my tenancy, such as the door draft stopper, and for also keeping the rent at the same amount for the length of my stay.
